JOIN UP - 2007/2008 Membership Fees

Full Membership:   $256.00 per annum which includes:  Associate Membership to Wynnum Manly Yacht Club, Membership Queensland Dragon Boat Federation, Security Key to access WMYC facilities, all training sessions and the opportunity to enter into all Regattas.

Junior Membership: $98.00 includes Membership QDBF.

Pro-rata Fees:   Our Annual Fees are pro rated. We operate on a monthly, reducing schedule of fees refer pro rata fee schedule.

Try out paddling:  We offer the opportunity for prospective members to try out paddling, 3 times within 30 days at a cost of $20.00.  If you wish to join our Club the $20.00 is deducted from Membership Fees.

New paddlers are welcome at our Club; they are given paddle technique instruction and a fitness warm up prior to the paddle session. Insurance paperwork and signing the paddler's register must be completed  prior to going out on the water.  We provide paddles to use and life jackets which must be worn.

Training on water is normally conducted within the protected waterways of Manly Harbour. On good days when the conditions are ideal we venture out into the Bay and paddle to Wynnum Jetty or Wynnum Creek.

Wear sunscreen, comfortable clothes, a hat & non slip shoes (running shoes or boat shoes). Definitely bring a water bottle and a change of clothes if required - you will get a little wet from paddle splash.

We train four times a week at present and usually take two boats out for each session, refer training schedule
